Sun Sprout Increases International Sprout Industry Role

Sun Sprout Ltd has strengthened its position as a leading voice in global sprout growing, thanks to the recent appointment of its Managing Director to a second key international sprout industry role.
 
Just six months after being appointed vice president of the International Sprout Growers Association (ISGA,) Sun Sprout Ltd Managing Director Stephen Dench has also been elected chairman of the newly formed ISGA Australasian sub-committee.

The ISGA is a professional association of sprout growers and companies that supply products and services to the sprout industry worldwide. The new ISGA sub-committee was set up in November to optimise sprout quality in Australasia and it currently has 22 members in Australia and 3 in New Zealand.

AS Chairman of the new ISGA sub-committee Stephen is working with Australasian sprout growers and food safety regulators to develop best practice guidelines and standards that will optimise sprout safety and quality.
