NZ Chef of the Year Congratulated for Creative Use of Sprouts

Sun Sprout Ltd, would like to congratulate New Zealand Chef of the Year Marc Soper for his creative use of Sproutman products in his award winning Mystery Box dish.

The newly appointed head chef at the Lanham Hotel Signature Restaurant in Auckland included a sprout salad in one of his award winning dishes at the recent New Zealand Culinary Fair and says it definitely helped him score well in both presentation and taste. He says, “Sprouts are great for adding colour and flavour. Their lovely peppery flavours are really refreshing and the variety of colours they come in can maximise the visual appeal of almost any dish.”

Sun Sprout sponsored the Mystery Box section of this year’s New Zealand Chef of the Year competition by providing a colourful range of baby salad greens, carrots and sprouts. Sun Sprout Auckland distributor Lynn Lum says, “We are very proud of the way that Marc used our products to maximise the presentation and flavour of his dish, and we congratulate him for his win.”
