Merger expedites delivery, ensuring fresher product

Another exciting development that has happened at New Zealand Fresh Cuts is the merger with Fresh A-peel, based in Nelson, where they already have growing and production facilities that will shortly mirror the facilities in Auckland.

Fresh A-peel recently merged with Mainland Fresh Cuts and coupled with Sun Sprout, the merger will ensures the NZFC group is the dominant force in the Fresh Cuts category in the South Island. Cross pollination of our product ranges will allow increased ranging choices for all customers.

Already production of some of the Sun Sprout brands for South Island customers has been transferred to the existing Nelson and Blenheim facilities, enabling us to expedite delivery of our fresh packaged products to our South Island customers.

Additionally, a new factory fit-out has already commenced which will include the latest processing equipment, automatic bagging and packing facilities and will conform to the highest levels of food safety. The merger will necessitate enlarged growing operations as well.

This alliance brings with it many customer benefits year round and additionally helps to eliminate the vulnerability of product quality and supply caused by uncontrollable localized weather patterns.
