Substantial Investment in Quality and Freshness

Approximately 100 people joined Sun Sprout at the Ellerslie Function Centre in Auckland on the 9th of October to hear about the company’s commitment to provide quality products year round.

Guests were treated to a sumptuous feast of mouth-watering sprout creations prepared by the President of the Chefs Association, Steve Barton – and got to see for themselves just how versatile and tasty sprouts really are.

They were then informed how serious Sun Sprout is to continue providing an ongoing supply of high quality, fresh, safe and nutritious sprouts, salad greens and baby peeled carrots.

Along with being introduced to the company’s new team members, the guests – who were mostly Sun Sprout distributors and clients - were informed about the recent four million dollar investment made by Sun Sprout’s supplier partner NZ Fresh Cuts in the production and processing of their produce.

Sun Sprout Managing Director Stephen Dench says the evening was enjoyed by everyone and the feedback was very positive.

He says, “It’s important that our key partners and stakeholders know what we are doing and are confident that we are committed to ensuring that our products are the very best they can be, at all times.”

“Over the past twelve months NZ Fresh Cuts has made a substantial investment in the quality production of our products. The recent commissioning of our two new computer controlled mung growing rooms has significantly improved the quality and availability of our mung beans, and the recent purchase of a new packaging machine and carrot processing equipment will further enhance our production.”
